- The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India vide its notice dated 22.06.2024 has decided to postpone the NEET-PG 2024, scheduled to be held tomorrow i.e. 23rd June, 2024, as a precautionary measure.
- Fresh date for NEET-PG 2024 will be notified at the earliest.
- This decision has been taken by the Government in the best interests of the students and to maintain the sanctity of examination process.
- Inconvenience caused to the students is regretted.
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 read with Chapter IV of Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. Qualifying NEET-PG is mandatory for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma
courses under various Universities/ Institutions in the country. NEETPG is mandatory even for foreign nationals seeking admission in medical courses in India.
A candidate can submit NEET-PG 2024 application form only once. If a candidate is
found to have submitted more than one application form for NEET-PG 2024, NBEMS may issue admit card to the application bearing higher order Application number (application ID) and cancel other application(s) forfeiting the fee for them. In an event any unfair practice is detected by NBEMS at any stage of examination/admission process, NBEMS may cancel the candidature of such candidates and debar them from appearing in any examinations conducted by NBEMS as per provisions of the
Unfair Means Guidelines.

NEET PG Exam Date 2024 : Important Notification
- Submission of incomplete online application form not in accordance with prescribed instructions shall invite rejection of the application. In such cases, the examination fee shall not be refunded.
- Candidate found ineligible at any stage of NEET-PG 2024 Examination, will not be permitted to
- appear in the examination. In an unlikely event of any ineligible candidate appearing and/or passing the NEET-PG 2024 examination, the results/candidature of such candidate shall be cancelled and/or is deemed to be cancelled, even if result has been declared or score card has been issued.
- NBEMS reserves the right to withdraw permission, if any, granted inadvertently to any
- candidate who is not eligible to appear in the NEET-PG 2024 Examinations even though the admit card/roll number has been issued or name/roll number is displayed on NBEMS website.
- Fee shall neither be carried forward to a future exams nor refunded under any circumstances. Application once submitted can not be withdrawn.
- Candidates’ eligibility is purely provisional & is subjected to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed in this Information Bulletin.
